Britney Spears has finally established herself as a true work of art. She has made it to the world-famous Musée du Louvre in Paris.
Well, OK, she’s not in the Louvre. But she’s hanging on it. A billboard advertising her first luxury fashion campaign, with the brand Kenzo, is taking the City of Light by storm.

The label chose Spears to be the face of its second nostalgia-based La Collection Memento for spring 2018. The campaign was shot in Los Angeles by Peter Lindbergh and features retro-feeling pieces, à la the ’80s, with lots of denim and many items stamped with a version of the original Kenzo logo.
Spears, 36, told Vogue last month that she approves of the colorful throwback styles. “Ugly was the way to go in the ’80s,” she admits, adding, “It was all just completely obnoxious — but there was also something so refreshing about that and the fact that we didn’t care what anyone thought about our clothes.”
It should be noted that Spears was born in 1981, Kenzo Jeans made its runway debut in 1986, and Britney was only 9 when the decade ended … so we will hope it goes without saying that she didn’t care what anyone thought of her clothes at that tender age.
At any rate, fans from around the world — posting in different languages — raved about Spears’s Louvre billboard on social media.
