Seattle, WA - Former Seattle Kraken forward Daniel Sprong will return to the Emerald City in a deal made with the Vancouver Canucks on Friday afternoon. Speaking to the media, Ron Francis stated, "Daniel is a player we know very well from his time here. His ability to score and his familiarity with our club will make him a welcomed addition."

The 6-ft, 195-lb Amsterdam native had a standout performance during his time with the Kraken in the 2022-2023 season. Sprong's fast footwork, hard hits, and relentless drive earned him 46 points (21 goals, 25 assists) with the Kraken.
