Boston Fleet Set To Hold A "Community Impact Day"
The Boston Fleet are making it clear, their community extends beyond the ice, and beyond the walls of their home arena.
The team will participate in a "Community Impact Day" on Tuesday, November 26, featuring a visit to the Boston Children's Hospital, and hosting Northeast Passage Sled Hockey at Boston Sports Institute.
“When players join the Boston Fleet, they take on the responsibility of using their platform to make the greater Boston area a better place,” said Boston Fleet General Manager Danielle Marmer. “Community impact is a core priority for our organization, and we aim to set the tone by dedicating a day during training camp to get out and give back.”
Boston will follow up their Community Impact Day with their final practice on November 27 prior to the team travelling to Toronto for their season opener against the Toronto Sceptres in Toronto on November 30.
