Bologna make surprise entrance in race for Mats Hummels

Mats Hummels is still without a team after officially concluding his spell with Borussia Dortmund earlier this month.

The veteran central defender is one of the names linked to Roma to complete the defense of De Rossi’s team.

Together with the Giallorossi, Como is also following in the German’s footsteps.

However, as reported by Sky Sport in the last few hours, Bologna would also have joined the race for the ex-Bayern Munich man.

With Riccardo Calafiori set to move to Arsenal, Bologna are in need of defensive reinforcements and Hummels’ veteran status could help Vincenzo Italiano’s team in their first Champions League campaign next season.
