Blues Trade Defenseman To Islanders

The St. Louis Blues have traded defenseman Scott Perunovich to the New York Islanders in exchange for a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick.

Perunovich, 26, has appeared in 24 games this season, where he has two goals and four assists. Now, he will provide the Islanders with a bit more defensive depth from here.

Perunovich was selected by the Blues with the 45th overall pick of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. In 97 games as a Blue, he had 29 points and a plus-4 rating.
