Black History is American History: How to watch on Yahoo

On Wednesday February 24th, Yahoo will continue their celebration of Black History Month with the event Black History is American History.

This hour-long virtual panel will include entrepreneur and philanthropist Percy “Master P” Miller, ESPN host and personality Elle Duncan, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx and NFL player and best selling author Sam Acho. The panel will be led by Yahoo Finance’s Kristin Myers and will feature a virtual town hall style discussion with questions submitted to Yahoo through social media.

Black History Month is a time to celebrate the achievements made by Black Americans but it can also be a platform to discuss the historical inequalities faced by Black Americans and how to improve upon them for the future generations.

This open form panel discussion amongst leaders within the different sectors of the Black community will look to be a place for an honest conversation about the importance of celebrating Black history not just within the Black community but as American history.

Please join us on Wednesday February 24th from 3-4p ET on Yahoo, Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Entertainment to join in the conversation.
