Billy Hamilton: Will Begin Season At Triple-A

Rotowire.com
Update: Reds GM Walt Jocketty said Hamilton will begin this season at Triple-A Louisville, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. "He'll be playing center field and working on his offense and his overall game," Jocketty said. "He's going to probably end up bunting a lot, with his speed. Bunting and running are his two key tools."

Recommendation: With the Reds acquiring Shin-Soo Choo in the offseason, this was to be expected. Choo's contract does expire after the season, however, so if Hamilton excels at Louisville as he did in the lower levels of the minors, he could enter 2014 as the starting center fielder for the big club.
