Yahoo Sports Big Brother star Lauren Harries in "induced coma" following seizure
Celebrity Big Brother's Lauren Harries has been put into a medically induced coma after experiencing a seizure, it has been announced.
On Monday, July 5, a close relative or friend took to Lauren's Twitter to confirm the news that Lauren had suffered a seizure the night before.
They wrote: "Last night Lauren had a seizure and doctors have had to put her into an induced coma to get it under control. Lauren needs all your support and wishes, she loves you all."

The tweet was greeted by messages of support, including from TOWIE star Aaron J. Fox, who wrote: "Our prayers are strongly with you all during this time, stay strong to all the family. X"
This update comes just days after Lauren's mother posted to social media to give fans an update following Lauren's emergency brain surgery.
"One of the scariest experiences of a mother's life, seeing your child hurting. All I wanted to do was swap places with Lauren. This is just after her brain surgery, even then we had no idea if we'd ever get our Lauren back again," Lauren's mother wrote.

Lauren was admitted into hospital for the surgery on April 14, with Lauren confirming that she nearly died as a result of her illness. However, the cause is still unknown. Since then, Lauren's family has posted updates on social media.
Lauren has suffered chest and throat infections, a "permanent headache", and blackouts that cause the right side of her face to drop. This seizure is the latest incident.
Lauren starred in the Channel 5 series Trust Me — I'm a Beauty Therapist and went on to feature in 2013's edition of Celebrity Big Brother. She finished third, with Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby winning.
