Bezos cashes in on Amazon, Herbalife shines and a bearish call on Tesla

Here’s a look at some of the stocks the Yahoo Finance team will be watching for you today.

Amazon (AMZN): CEO Jeff Bezos just sold 1 million shares of Amazon stock. That’s worth $941 million, the most Bezos has ever made on any single sale. The stock is up 25% so far this year and closed at an all-time high earlier this week after an earnings beat.

Herbalife (HLF): The supplement maker’s first-quarter earnings topped Wall Street estimates on both the top and bottom lines. The company also raised its full-year earnings guidance above current consensus. It’s more bad news for activist investor Bill Ackman, who shorted the stock and called it a “pyramid scheme.”

Tesla (TSLA): UBS analysts warn that the electric car-maker’s stock could drop by nearly 50%. UBS is cautious on the timing of Tesla’s Model 3 launch and questions the car’s future profitability. That’s because of the the model’s relatively low price tag and high battery cost.

Delta (DAL): The airline is in hot water again, this time apologizing after a couple said they were kicked off an overbooked flight with their two toddlers. The family says the airline threatened to throw the parents in jail and put the kids in foster care. Delta issued a statement regarding the issue saying it was, “Sorry for the unfortunate experience.”
