Bengals hire Marcus Lewis, Marvin Lewis' son, as defensive assistant
The Cincinnati Bengals have hired Marcus Lewis, son of Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, as a defensive assistant-quality control.
Last year, he was an assistant to the University of Cincinnati coaching staff. He had duties with the defensive line and scout teams, and he also worked in the team’s self-scouting, film breakdown and practice organization. He will work in similar capacities with the Bengals.
Lewis played football in Cincinnati in high school before playing at Indiana State as a linebacker for four seasons.
