Bellator 158 Results: Douglas Lima Gets Unanimous Decision Over Paul Daley

Douglas Lima went through a successful three-round headliner, picking up a decision over Paul Daley in the main event at Bellator 158 in London on Saturday.

Lima showed to be the better fighter in the judges' eyes on this night, registering scorecards of 30-27 across the judging panel for the unanimous nod.

Daley had a tough start to the contest, getting stung by a left hand that sent him falling to the ground with Lima pursuing and trying to finish. Lima continued the striking onslaught in the second and was able to effectively apply takedowns throughout the rest of the fight.

The win is Lima's first since the former welterweight champion lost to Andrey Koreshkov a year ago at Bellator 140.

Earlier in the evening, Bellator rising star Michael Page picked up another highlight-reel knockout to add to his collection of finishes. Against Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos, Page was taken down in the first round and showed he had some defensive ground skills by reversing position and attempting a kneebar submission.

In the second round, Page launched a flying knee that hit its target on Cyborg's head and the Brazilian fighter fell to the cage floor, covering up and bringing an end to the fight at 4:31. The finish was the 10th of Page's career, improving his record to 11-0.

Matt Mitrione picked up his second Bellator win with a finish of Oli Thompson in a heavyweight bout. Both fighters traded blows through two rounds, but Mitrone unloaded a barrage of punches late in the second to finish the fight via TKO at 4:21.

Other main card fights included UFC veteran Francis Carmont getting a first-round submission of Lukasz Klinger, and James Gahllager earning a unanimous decision over Mike Cutting.
