Bears WR DJ Moore sounds off on 'heartbreaking' season

There are many ways to describe the Chicago Bears season this year, and all of the negative connotations that could be used would be more than fair and accurate.

Many players on the team have expressed their frustration and disappointment with the season, and on Monday, superstar wide receiver DJ Moore described the season as many would, heartbreaking.

Making his weekly appearance on 670 The Score with "Mully & Haugh Show," Moore was asked how he would sum up the season for the Bears, who currently sit at 4-9 on the year. With just four games remaining on a season that has more than disappointed and failed on expectations, Moore sounded off on the underwhelming performance.

"You go into the season with high expectations," Moore said. "When they don't work out, it's heartbreaking. But everybody goes out there on Sunday and lays it on the line. You either win or you lose. We happen to be on this losing streak, which sucks a lot."

Not one to mince words about this season, Moore's comments are not far off or inaccurate to what this season has been. Currently, a seven-game losing streak has destroyed all of the season, which has come with a change at both offensive coordinator, and most recently, head coach.

The Bears came into 2024 with high expectations, plenty of hype and optimism, and they've fallen flat on their faces ever since entering their bye week at 4-2 back in October.
