Houston trailed 5-0 but scored three runs in the seventh, one in the eighth and got a game-tying home run from Preston Tucker, the Astros' Major-League leading 62nd of the season. The Tigers (25-17) pulled within two games of Kansas City, while Houston dropped to 27-15. - - - Mets 5, Cardinals 0 Jacob deGrom retired the final 23 batters he faced and combined on a two-hitter with right-hander Jeurys Familia as the New York Mets beat the St. Louis Cardinals 5-0. Lucas Duda hit a pair of home runs and four RBIs for the Mets (24-18), who pulled within a half-game of Washington for first place in the National League East. The Cardinals fell to 27-14. - - - Giants 4, Dodgers 0 Madison Bumgarner and four relievers scattered nine hits as the San Francisco Giants completed a sweep of the Dodgers with a 4-0 win. Bumgarner went the first 6 1/3 innings, allowing seven hits while striking out six, in a marquee matchup against Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw, who allowed four runs in 7 1/3 innings. Pollock hit a go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning to help Arizona (19-21) earn a four-game sweep against Miami. The Marlins (16-26) have lost seven games in a row. - - - Rockies 7, Phillies 3 Michael McKenry's two-run homer and strong work by the Colorado bullpen enabled the Rockies to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 7-3. It was the Rockies (15-23) fourth win in 19 games. - - - Orioles 5, Mariners 4 Steve Pearce hit a grand slam in the first inning, but the Baltimore Orioles needed a tiebreaking single from J.J. Hardy in the eighth to beat the Seattle Mariners 5-4. Pearce's homer gave the Orioles (18-20) an early 4-0 lead, but they could not hold it as the Mariners (18-22) kept chipping away in a game that was affected by rain delays. - - - Blue Jays 8, Angels 4 R.A. Dickey pitched his first complete game of the season, and first baseman Edwin Encarnacion hit a three-run homer, as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Los Angeles Angels 8-4. The Blue Jays' (19-24) second win in the past nine games gave them a split of the four-game series with the Angels (21-20), who got home runs from first baseman Marc Krauss and third baseman David Freese. - - - Braves 10, Brewers 1 Aided by the ejection of the opposing pitcher, the Atlanta Braves rallied for seven runs in the seventh inning to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 10-1. The Rays (23-19) got an RBI double and solo home run from designated hitter David DeJesus, and that was all the scoring the pitching staff needed. Oakland fell to 14-29, the worst record in the Majors. - - - Indians 5, White Sox 2 Danny Salazar threw six scoreless innings and the Cleveland Indians delivered got on the board early to beat the Chicago White Sox 5-2. The Indians (17-23) put together their first three-game winning streak of the season while earning their fifth victory in seven games. - - - Cubs 3, Padres 0 Right-hander Kyle Hendricks pitched a five-hit shutout and rookie infielders Kris Bryant and Addison Russell hit home runs as the Chicago Cubs defeated the San Diego Padres 3-0.
