📸 Barcelona defender forced out of LaLiga opener through injury

Barcelona and Hansi Flick have been handed an early season headache as Alejandro Balde was forced off midway through the second half through injury.

The defender had only just returned from a hamstring injury, and was making his first competitive appearance since January in their LaLiga opener against Valencia.

But the 20-year-old went down just after the hour mark and had to be replaced by 22-year-old Gerard Martín, which will leave Barcelona fans fearing another spell on the sidelines.
