Yahoo Sports Back in the UFC, Rampage Jackson is on a Mission to Avenge Past Losses
For the first time in 27 months, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson returned to the UFC octagon on Saturday in Montreal. The 36-year-old defeated twelfth-ranked Fabio Maldonado by unanimous decision in the UFC 186: Johnson vs. Horiguchi co-main event at the Bell Centre.
Now that he’s officially back in the UFC after a contractual dispute with his previous employer, Bellator MMA, Jackson wants to avenge his previous losses.

“I want to come back and beat everybody that beat me,” said Jackson during the UFC 186 post-fight press conference.
“I want to fight Shogun (Maurico Rua), Glover (Teixeira), Rashad (Evans), and make my way back up to Jon Jones. I’m on a mission. That’s the honest truth,” added the Memphis native.
Jackson was defeated by Rua during the 2005 PRIDE Middleweight Grand Prix opening round. He lost to Evans by decision at UFC 114 in 2010. Jones defeated Jackson at UFC 135 by submission. After his loss to Teixeira at UFC on Fox 6 in January 2013, Jackson left the UFC.
The former light heavyweight champion put in a performance against Maldonado that had glimpses of the Rampage that rose to the top of the sport in 2007. A more technical, better trained Jackson began his climb up to contender status on Saturday.
