Ashley Graham has delivered another dose of body positivity after proudly showing off her postpartum stretch marks on Instagram.

Earlier this year, the model gave birth to her first child, Isaac, and since then she has been keeping fans posted about the realities of motherhood.

Opening up about everything from breastfeeding to her post-birth healing journey, the 32-year-old has been praised for helping other mums have the confidence to embrace their post-pregnancy bodies.

Now she has shared a video of her cupping her hands in the shape of a heart over the stretch marks on her stomach.

To give the silvery marks even more love, the model captioned the photo with every coloured heart on her emoji keyboard.

Since sharing the video clip, the model has been inundated with messages from her followers, thanking her for offering a reminder to new mums that they are beautiful no matter how their bodies may have changed.

“Ashley Graham I want you to know your body positivity makes this world a better place and your [sic] the bomb.com,” one appreciative user wrote.

“Thank you for this! I’m 41 weeks and my stomach is red raw,” another wrote. “I’m trying to give myself grace and know that with every stretch, my baby is healthy and growing. So thank you.”

“Body shaming myself hard today... man did I need this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” another commented.

This isn’t the first time Graham has been praised for normalising new mother stretch marks.

Back in July, she launched her latest swimsuit collaboration with the brand Swimsuits for All with a stunning photoshoot in which her postpartum stretch marks were proudly on display.

Speaking of her decision not to have the marks edited out, Graham explained she wanted people to see them as they are part of her story.

“There’s always a question of what do you want us to retouch, and what do you want us to take out? And I said, ‘Nothing,’ except from a clamp holding up the DIY backdrop,” she told People. “I want everybody to know genuinely… I want people to see who I am because everybody has a story.

“A lot of women I speak to have image issues, body issues around confidence,” the new mum continued. “I want them to understand that we all have things that society has told us to cover up, and why do we need to do that? So here I am with mine out and about and proud.”

The model also revealed her stretch marks on Instagram back in February, in a post that sparked thousands of mums to thank her for helping give them the confidence to embrace their own postpartum bodies.

Graham has also shared a candid photo of herself giving birth to mark International Women’s Day.
