Arsenal vs Chelsea: Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny impress as Blues misfire

Goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny ensured Arsenal enjoyed a relatively comfortable 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League.

The French forward opened the scoring with a well-taken strike inside the area before his compatriot doubled the lead with a close-range header shortly before half-time.

Chelsea frequently worked the ball into useful attacking areas but lacked the penetration to test Bernd Leno. Olivier Giroud and Callum Hudson-Odoi’s introduction did not change the flow of the game as Arsenal held onto their lead.

Manchester United's win against Brighton means that just three points separate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side from Chelsea and Arsenal in the race for the final place in the top four.
