Arrigo Sacchi comments Juve-Roma: “Both teams were afraid of each other.”
Former Milan and Italy manager Arrigo Sacchi weighed in on last night’s draw between Juventus and Roma.
In his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sacchi noted, “Juve against Roma were less brilliant than in previous performances. I believe that both the Bianconeri and the Giallorossi were a bit afraid of each other.”
“It makes sense, especially at this point of the season,” he added.
“I have a lot of respect for Thiago Motta and De Rossi and I’m sure they will do an excellent job. They have ideas and courage, and at times this was also evident last night.”
“I repeat: respect and fear could be seen in both teams. The proof is that the teams were very balanced and almost never had a shot on goal.”
