Arne Slot offers Trent Alexander-Arnold injury UPDATE
Trent Alexander-Arnold is NOT training with his Liverpool teammates ahead of the Premier League game against Southampton on Sunday.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, suffered a hamstring injury in the final game before the international break, against Aston Villa at Anfield.
It was speculated that the defender would be out for two weeks, meaning he would be in contention for the Southampton fixture this weekend.
However, speaking at a press conference on Friday morning, Arne Slot stated that Trent was NOT training with the team ahead of the game but added that he hoped he would be back soon.
Liverpool's next two fixtures are against Real Madrid in the Champions League and Manchester City in the Premier League.
