Slick conditions along the sideline didn’t prevent Toronto Argonauts receiver DeVier Posey from making a little Grey Cup history in his first appearance in the big game.

Sprinting past Calgary Stampeders defensive back Tommie Campbell on his go route early in the second quarter Sunday at TD Place Stadium, the Ohio State product hauled in the deep ball from Ricky Ray and completed the 100-yard run to claim the longest touchdown in the 105-year history of the Grey Cup.

Pat Woodcock of the Montreal Alouettes caught a 99-yard touchdown pass from Anthony Calvillo at the 90th Grey Cup in 2002, breaking a mark that stood at 90 yards for the previous 41 years.

Ray matched Calvillo’s record for career touchdown passes in the Grey Cup with Posey’s record-breaking reception.
