AP Top 25: Cincinnati moves to No. 2 as Iowa drops to No. 11

The Cincinnati Bearcats are the No. 2 team in the country.

Cincinnati moved up to No. 2 behind Georgia after a big win against UCF on Saturday. Cincinnati is 6-0 and a spot ahead of undefeated Oklahoma. The Sooners and new QB Caleb Williams easily beat TCU on Saturday.

Georgia got every first-place vote in the poll. Iowa dropped from No. 2 to No. 11 after losing at home to Purdue. The Boilermakers moved into the poll at No. 25 after the win.

Alabama moved up to No. 4 and Ohio State rounds out the top five.

The Big Ten has four teams in the top 10 with Michigan at No. 6, Penn State at No. 7 and Michigan State at No. 9.

Oklahoma State moved up four spots to No. 8 after beating Texas. The Longhorns dropped out of the top 25 entirely.

Texas-San Antonio is at No. 24 and in the AP Top 25 for the first time in program history. The Roadrunners are 7-0 and one of two undefeated FBS team in the state of Texas. The other is No. 21 SMU.
