Yahoo Sports Antonio Brown's probation from moving truck incident ended early, criminal matter resolved
Antonio Brown’s criminal matter after his incident with a moving truck last year was finalized on Tuesday and his probation was ended a year early, according to ESPN’s Jenna Laine.
Brown pleaded no contest to a charge that he assaulted a driver last January, and was sentenced to two years probation.
"In further demonstration of Antonio Brown's hard work and great progress since his NFL suspension, we are very pleased to advise that his withheld adjudication is now final and he has completed his probation a full year ahead of schedule," his attorney, Sean Burstyn, said in a statement to ESPN.

Brown and his personal trainer Glenn Holt allegedly refused to pay a $4,000 fee to a moving company that was delivering items to Brown’s home in Florida in January 2020.
The driver of the truck said that Brown threw a rock at his truck before attacking him. The driver also said in a 911 call that Brown was high during the incident and smoked something in front of him. Dashcam footage showed Brown walking up and grabbing the driver.
Brown reportedly then locked himself inside his home before he eventually surrendered to authorities.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver later described the incident as a “misunderstanding” and pled no contest. He was facing three charges — felony burglary conveyance, misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal mischief — and was sentenced to two years probation, ordered to undergo a psychological evaluation, a 13-week anger management course and 100 hours of community service.
Though Brown’s probation has ended, he is still involved in a civil lawsuit filed by the driver — who is seeking $30,000 in damages, according to ESPN.
Brown recorded 483 receiving yards and four touchdowns with the Buccaneers last season, his first with the team after a tumultuous ending both with the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots. The 32-year-old had 81 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions in the postseason while helping the Bucs to a Super Bowl win. He re-signed with the team on a one-year, $3.075 million deal.
