Anthony Mackie has revealed the new title for Captain America 4 along with a new set photo.

According to an Instagram post by Mackie, the film, which was previously titled Captain America: New World Order, has been renamed Captain America: Brave New World.

As well as the new title reveal, Mackie gave fans a behind the scenes look at himself in costume as Sam Wilson, aka Captain America, alongside Harrison Ford who will play Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross in the upcoming MCU film.

In the snap, which Mackie shared today (June 6), Ford appears to be sitting in a directors chair having watched Mackie's performance on a set of screens.

"When Harrison Ford tells you how kicking ass should look, you listen! Lol… Thanks for the on-set wisdom and laughs my friend! Can't wait to do it again… Marvel Studios' Captain America: Brave New World in theaters May 3, 2024," Mackie captioned the post.

Mackie's Falcon was given the Captain America shield at the end of Avengers: Endgame, before he later appeared as Cap in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.

Previously speaking about filming the upcoming Marvel movie, Ford said he faced a "tough schedule".

"Yeah. I mean, there are tough days and easy days and fun days and all kinds of days," he said in an interview with Esquire. "It's a tough schedule and, yeah, it's fun. But it's not a walk in the park. It's not fun fun. It's work."

Meanwhile, Ford's on screen daughter played by Liv Tyler was recently pictured on set filming what appeared to be a funeral, perhaps that of Ford's Captain Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross.

Tyler is set to return to the MCU reprising her role as Betty Ross fifteen years after first appearing as the character in 2008's The Incredible Hulk.

Captain America: Brave New World has a release date of May 3, 2024. Meanwhile, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is streaming exclusively on Disney+.
