Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson lead post-Week 7 AP poll

Ohio State and Clemson are the two biggest beneficiaries of a crazy Week 7.

The Buckeyes moved to No. 2 and Clemson to No. 3 behind No. 1 Alabama in the AP poll after four teams ranked in the previous week’s top 10 lost on Saturday.

Georgia fell at LSU and dropped from No. 2 to No. 8. LSU was at No. 13 and moved up to No. 5. Notre Dame is just ahead of the Tigers at No. 4 after surviving Pitt’s upset bid.

Michigan is at No. 6 after beating Wisconsin followed by Texas. Oklahoma and Central Florida round out the top 10.

West Virginia fell from No. 6 to No. 13 after losing at Iowa State. Washington fell from No. 7 to No. 15 after losing to Oregon. The Ducks are now at No. 12. Penn State is now at No. 18 after entering the week at No. 8. The Nittany Lions lost 21-17 to No. 24 Michigan State.
