Adam Rippon is one of the best figure skaters in the world and one of the biggest American stars heading into the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang. The 28-year-old veteran figure skater exudes natural charm and charisma both on and off the ice, making him a fan favorite and a must follow throughout the Games.

Yet, while his skills as an athlete might land him on the podium in South Korea before it’s all said and done, he probably isn’t the ideal source for those looking to brush up on their figure skating knowledge as the competitions get underway.

Rippon teamed up with NBC to teach his Instagram followers the finer points of figure skating using Legos, and while the demonstration provided absolutely no useful insight into the sport itself, he was as delightful as ever in his presentation.
