Aaron Sanchez returns to rotation for series finale against Orioles

After spending 10 days in the minors, Aaron Sanchez is back and making his return to the Toronto Blue Jays rotation on Wednesday. Right-handed reliever Bo Schultz was sent down to make room.

Sanchez will make his 25th start of the season against Yovani Gallardo and the Baltmore Orioles in the series finale.

Sanchez is 12-2 this season, with a 2.99 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP.

Dioner Navarro, who the Blue Jays reacquired last Friday, will also be making his first start with the team, batting seventh in the designated hitter spot.

Earlier Wednesday, the Boston Red Sox defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 8-6, moving to within 1½ of Blue Jays for the AL East division lead.
