A D-III lineman completed a deep ball and it was a thing of beauty (Video)

An offensive lineman completed a 33-yard pass over the weekend. I repeat: An offensive lineman completed a 33-yard pass over the weekend.

The lucky big man is Kolton Koch, a tackle for Division III Monmouth College (Illinois). Koch, lined up at right guard, pulled to the left, took a handoff and delivered a bomb downfield to teammate Yansay Williams for a big gain.

It was a thing of beauty:

The 6-foot-1, 275-pound lefty got plenty of air under the ball. It was probably a bit underthrown, but the coverage was tight, so Koch’s throw allowed Williams to come back to the ball for a big gain. The pass set up first-and-goal, and Monmouth scored a few plays later en route to a 59-7 win. The Scots improved to 10-0 with the win.

Isn’t college football great?
