5. Johnny Depp sues over “wife beater” story
Johnny Depp is suing British tabloid The Sun for libel after it printed a column slamming J.K. Rowling’s support of the actor’s casting in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film franchise given allegations of spousal abuse against ex-wife Amber Heard.
