Here are 5 Super Bowl events and deals in Beaufort County to take advantage of this year

Super Bowl 2023 is set to take place on Sunday with kick-off at 6:30 p.m. The two teams playing will be the Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles. This will be the 57th Super Bowl to take place and will occur at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Here are five events and specials happening around Beaufort County for this year’s Super Bowl.

• The Super Bowl Kick Off Party Oyster Roast will take place from 4-7 p.m on Sunday at Coast, Oceanfront Dining, which can be found at 87 N Sea Pines Drive. Fresh, local and roasted-on-site oysters from Maggioni Oyster Company on St. Helena Island will be featured at this event for $27.99 per bucket. In addition, peel-and-eat shrimp for $17 for a half pound or $32 for a pound will also be at this event for your enjoyment.
  
  

• For drinks, visit Top Dawg Tavern for their Super Bowl watch party for their “hot and crispy wings, delicious appetizers and cold drinks.” There will be $10 domestic beer pitchers and five for $15 island beer buckets at this event.
  
  

• If you’re staying home but want to have your food catered, One Hot Mama’s is offering to-go specials on Sunday. The specials include a $60 whole pork butt that serves 20-24 sliders; a Super Bowl Party Package that includes 2 pounds of pulled pork, one quart of baked beans, one quart of coleslaw, slider rolls, and signature sauces for $69 and serves six to eight guests; a wing platter that contains 50 bone-in wings in two flavors for $80 or 25 wings with one flavor for $40; or lastly, a brisket queso and tortilla chip special for $24 that serves six to eight guests.
  
  

• On Sunday, Applebee’s is offering customers 20 free boneless wings with any Applebee’s pick-up or a delivery order of $40 or more when using the promo code “BIGGAME23” at checkout.
  
  

• Taco Bell is offering a new Super Bowl bundle called the Ultimate Game Day Box. This special offering is $22 and includes chicken wings, a taco pizza, and crunchy tacos.
