SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -- In a story July 17, The Associated Press, relying on information provided by the San Francisco 49ers, reported that Levi's Stadium is the first LEED Gold certified stadium in the NFL for its environmentally friendly design. The U.S. Green Building Council says Levi's Stadium is seeking to become the first stadium in the NFL to be LEED Gold certified as a new building.
