At 44, Zoe Saldana Shows Off Toned Abs in Topless Mirror Selfie and Fans Lose It

Zoe Saldana is busy—she’s starring in Special Ops: Lioness right now and has two more Avatar movies coming up, along with a slew of other projects in the works. But the 44-year-old just took time out to share an Instagram video on how she covers her tattoos for work. The actress went topless, showing off her incredibly toned abs and arms.

Saldana shot the video in a mirror with only a pair of slouchy jeans on. The mom of three casually showed off her incredible abs from the front and side while covering her breasts with her forearms. “Tattoo Time Coverage,” she wrote over top, along with “#worklife” in the caption. And people completely lost it in the comments.

“Celebrity thirst trap 😍,” one person wrote. “I almost fell out of my damn seat!!! 😅😍😂,” another commented. “Woww🤯,” someone else wrote.

Saldana has a background in dance, and apparently she still uses it. She just shared a video on Instagram of herself doing a series of dances throughout the day, including while cleaning her table, playing soccer with her kids, and washing dishes.

“Brazilian hip moves after dinner…,” she joked in the caption.

Saldana also recently dropped a video of herself doing an impressive dance challenge that had her doing hands-free squats and one-legged kicks that definitely worked her thighs.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star has worked with Rise Gym as well. Last year, she did a special fitness program that she shared with fans that featured some pretty intense exercises, like hip thrusts with a resistance band on a Bosu ball, arm twists with a resistance band, a series of intense-looking leg lifts, and squats with one leg on the ball. “Doing workouts that get my neuromuscular system to activate has helped my body to work even more efficiently,” she wrote in the caption. “Nothing better than feeling strong!”

Saldana’s trainer, Jason Walsh, told Shape that his client is “always willing to put in the work.” He adds, “She stays motivated by her own goals and understands what she needs from her body. It is not about motivation with Zoe; it is always there.” (By the way, Walsh said that Saldana may train as early as 4:30 a.m. if she has work commitments in the morning.)

She’s also generally really active. Saldana shared a video last year of herself dancing in a hotel hallway and running in heels in between press events.

Apparently, Saldana relies on stretching to keep her limber. She did a slew of impressive moves—including a split!—on a yoga mat next to a Bosu ball last year, making it clear that she’s incredibly flexible.

Of course, Saldana is an action star, too. She told Vogue that her role as Neytiri in last year’s Avatar: Way of the Water required a lot of physical training, including archery, dance, and diving training with an instructor who taught Navy Seals.

“You’re training yourself to let go of the panic when you go underwater and, once you put that into practice, it’s kind of liberating,” she said.

It’s been a minute, but Saldana previously told Bon Appetit that she and her family are 80% gluten-free, although she admitted that she’s not the savviest chef. “I’m not known for the meats that I cook,” she said. “I get pretty creative with eggs. Sometimes I’ll make panini, and I’ll buy a whole bunch of awesome cold cuts.”
