While spending more time at home, I've found myself gravitating to the kitchen more, looking for quick snacks and meals. But one of my favorite things to make in a pinch is toast.

Even though we now have the luxury of testing out longer recipes at home, Revolution Cooking’s genius smart toaster is perfect for a quick snack. The product uses a touch screen to make toasting bread simpler (and faster!) than ever.

As the first-ever “smart” toaster featuring a touch screen, the appliance lets you choose the exact type of bread you’re toasting — whether it’s sliced bread, bagels, waffles, English muffins or toaster pastries — in order to get the perfect crispness without over-toasting or burning. Plus, you can use the touch screen to automatically lower and raise your bread in and out of the toaster.

While the touch screen is certainly convenient, this toaster’s most innovative feature is actually its smart technology, which heats bread in a fraction of the time it takes a traditional toaster. Revolution Cooking’s technology toasts the bread more evenly and efficiently, with seven browning levels, three toasting modes and five different food settings.

And while the product is normally a kitchen gadget with a hefty price tag, it’s available for $100 off at Williams Sonoma right now. Since you’re probably making breakfast more often for yourself right now, it’s worth the investment.
