Oscars 2020: Hollywood's biggest stars arrive at the annual Academy Awards

Hollywood's biggest night is here!

The 92nd annual Academy Awards kicked off on Sunday night at Los Angeles' iconic Dolby theatre, bringing together the biggest names in film for a night of celebration and awards.

The academy has only just rolled its red carpet for the star-studded night and "Pose" star Billy Porter was among the first celebrities to arrive for the evening. In true Porter fashion, the actor opted for a show-stopping ensemble by designer Giles Deacon, complete with a feathered bodice crafted out of 24-carat gold and a voluminous patterned skirt.

Kelly Ripa, in a tiered one-shoulder black ball gown, took the red carpet alongside husband Mark Consuelos, while the talented cast of "Parasite" for the cameras. Meanwhile, "1917's" breakout stars George MacKay and Dean-Charles Chapman were among the first to arrive for what is sure to be an unforgettable evening.

Also kicking off this year's red carpet is Regina King, dazzling in an embellished coral dress, Lin Manuel Miranda and Laura Dern, who brought her mother, actress Diane Ladd, as her date!
