We promise to not bring you an update every time Marcus Jordan throws one down, but his jam against Stetson Tuesday night was thunderous enough that it called for a post.
The Central Florida sophomore went all Dad on the Hatters' D in Tuesday's 85-58 Knights win. The one-handed jam shown below comes after a lazy inbounds pass leads to a steal and then a serious slam in traffic over Stetson's Ridge Graham, who made the errant pass and paid the posterizing price. Jordan was even so excited about it that he was hit with a taunting technical foul.
It's no facial of embarrassment to Patrick Ewing, but it'll surely earn Pops' respect at Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow night.
I do love how this is a road game, at Stetson, yet Central Florida fans took over the place and erupted when Baby Jordan sent it in.
The young Jordan has been in the news earlier this year for less-glamorous transgressions, you may recall. One, he cost Central Florida a sponsorship with adidas after refusing to wear anything but shoes made by Nike, and secondly, he and his brother, Jeffrey, who is of age, caught flak for their Tweets about escapading in Las Vegas in August.
A second view of the dunk after the jump.
