    Blake Griffin announced his retirement Tuesday after a 14-year career that included six All-Star selections, Rookie of the Year honors and a dunk contest victory.     Brewers' Christian Yelich goes on the injured list with lower back strain

    MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich has gone on the 10-day injured list with a lower back strain. The move announced Tuesday is retroactive to Saturday. Yelich's last appearance came in an 11-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. Milwaukee recalled utilityman Owen Miller from Triple-A Nashville to fill Yelich’s spot on the roster.
