Player Notes
Dee Gordon was cleared of a possible concussion after Tuesday's game.

Advice: Gordon left the contest after hitting his head on the Phillies' Jayson Nix's knee when he slid into third base on steal in the seventh inning. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said that the second baseman looked a little "dazed" but passed the necessary tests. Still, it wouldn't be a surprise if the club gave him a day.

Dee Gordon left Tuesday's game against the Phillies with a possible head injury.

Advice: Gordon appeared to bang his head on the Phillies' Jayson Nix's knee when he slid into third base on steal in the seventh inning. He initially stayed in and scored on a Justin Turner RBI single but didn't take his position in the eighth. The Dodgers will surely put him through concussion tests before an update on his status is available.

Dee Gordon went 3-for-4 with a triple and an RBI in Wednesday's 2-1 setback against the Giants.

Advice: It already seems insane that Justin Turner started on Opening Day. The 25-year-old Gordon continues to whack the ball around, collecting multi-hit games in four of his last six. He's slashing .404/.453/.553 with 10 steals. That average is good for third in the National League, while he leads the league in swipes.

Dee Gordon went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases in Sunday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: He also walked twice and scored a run in the game. Gordon leads the National League with nine stolen bases, and Sunday he victimized Diamondbacks catcher Tuffy Gosewisch four times in the win. The second baseman is now batting .400/.457/.525 on the young season.
