Player Notes
Dee Gordon went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Nationals.

Advice: Gordon hit the RBI single off of Jordan Zimmerman in the fifth inning. He also flashed his reckless side, as he was thrown out at second on the same play. Gordon giveth and he taketh away in that fashion. Later in the game, he recorded his eighth steal of the season. In Gordon's first year with the Marlins, he is slashing a lovely .370/.382/.452. If we're going to quibble with the great start, Gordon's walked just twice in 73 at-bats, meaning that his OBP is largely dependent on his bat.

Dee Gordon hit a double and four singles in Saturday's loss to the Mets.

Advice: Despite a late comeback attempt, Gordon and his teammates were unable to secure the win. He's been one of the lone bright spots for the Marlins and is now hitting .400/.415/.520. Gordon's also been caught stealing four times in just 12 games, though he runs so often that this isn't a huge surprise. He was thrown out 19 times last season, against 64 swipes. Gordon won't supply much power, but he'll give you the speed and runs in spades, plus a nice average.
