Player Notes
Dee Gordon went 4-for-5 with his first home run of the season while also adding a stolen base in Monday's win over the Mets.

Advice: Gordon provided one of the most unforgettable moments of the season in this one. After an emotional pregame honoring their late teammate Jose Fernandez, Gordon stood in the right side of the batter's box for the first pitch of the bottom of the first inning as an ode to Fernandez. He then moved over to his regular left side and slugged a pitch out to right for his first dinger of the season. Gordon was bawling as he rounded the bases and was then greeted by his teammates in an incredibly moving moment. Justin Bour also had a big night for the fish, going 3-for-3 while falling a homer shy of the cycle.

Dee Gordon went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs scored in the Marlins' 6-4 win over the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Gordon had no fear for Braves catcher Anthony Recker, walking and stealing second base in the first inning, stealing third base in the third inning and stealing second again an inning later. The three steals give him 26 steals in 74 games this year. His .257/.298/.320 line leaves something to be desired, but the 28-year-old's speed is a fantasy difference-maker and with a full year to work with in 2017, he should once again be among the cream of the crop at second base.

Dee Gordon is not in the Marlins' lineup Friday.

Advice: It's a simple day off. Derek Dietrich is at second base and in the leadoff spot.
