Player Notes
A.J. Ellis went 1-for-3 with his first career stolen base in Wednesday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: Entering Wednesday's action, Ellis had attempted just four steals in 536 career games. None of those tries were successful, but the veteran backstop surprised the universe with steal No. 1 on Wednesday. The Dodgers -- cheeky crew that they are -- had the base removed for memory's sake. Even with his newfound speed, he remains a fantasy no-go due to his lack of playing time and lack of upside with the bat.
