Player Notes
Jay Bruce is not in the Reds' lineup Wednesday.

Advice: Bruce is getting a breather against tough left-hander Francisco Liriano. Chris Heisey is starting in his place in right field. Devin Mesoraco is also sitting out, with Brayan Pena getting the start behind the dish.

Jay Bruce went 2-for-4 with a two-run triple in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: It was Bruce's first triple of the year but surprisingly the 17th of his career, a steep total for someone not known for his speed. Bruce also came around to score on a Ryan Ludwick sacrifice fly, and he later singled in the fifth inning.
