Player Notes
Ryan Zimmerman ripped a solo homer and scored a pair of runs in Monday's loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Zimmerman's solo shot to center field in the eighth inning was one of few highlights for the Nationals in this one. It was Zim's second longball of the season, though he's batting just .154/.267/.385 overall so far. Danny Espinosa also had a solo homer for the Nats on Monday.

Ryan Zimmerman hit a two-run homer in the first to give the Nationals all of their runs Wednesday against the Mets.

Advice: Zimmerman went without a homer in 58 at-bats this spring, but he's on the board now. He is 0-for-6 with four strikeouts in his other at-bats so far this season.
