Player Notes
Curtis Granderson (ribs) could be available to pinch-hit Tuesday.

Advice: Granderson had to exit Monday's game after colliding with the outfield wall, but he's feeling much better a day later. There had been some thought that he might need a DL stint, but obviously that won't be the case.

X-rays on Curtis Granderson (rib cage, forearm, knee) came back negative.

Advice: Granderson crashed into the right field while during the first inning of Monday's game against the Diamondbacks. He stayed in the game initially, but the Mets eventually decided to pull him out of concern about his rib cage. He's considered day-to-day, but was in quite a bit of pain after the game. Expect him to miss a couple of days at the very least.

Curtis Granderson will undergo X-rays after leaving Monday's game with rib cage, forearm, and knee contusions.

Advice: Granderson slammed into the right field wall while trying to track down a fly ball in the first inning Monday. He actually stayed in the game for five more innings, but the Mets eventually decided to pull him. We'll know more about his status after tests are completed.

Curtis Granderson left Monday's game against the Diamondbacks with an apparent left wrist injury.

Advice: Granderson jammed the wrist in the outfield wall while chasing down a Miguel Montero double in the first inning. He stayed in the game for a while and even delivered an RBI single before eventually exiting. The Mets should provide an update on his status after the game.

Curtis Granderson launched a two-run home run in Saturday's win over the Reds.

Advice: It was his first home run in a Mets uniform. Granderson figures to lose a few home runs trading in Yankee Stadium for Citi Field, but he should still hit for enough power to be useful in most mixed leagues. However, his penchant for the strikeout will continue to drag down his batting average.
