Magnum P.I. cosplayers on a bachelor party got ejected from the Tigers stadium for smoking and catcalling, one of them says.
The Kansas City Royals were aggressive from the start Wednesday night and it paid off with one of their more lopsided wins of the year. Swinging regularly at the first pitch against Brett Anderson, the Royals chased the Toronto starter early in a 15-5 rout of the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. Salvador Perez hit a two-run homer in Kansas City's eight-run second inning and Whit Merrifield and Mike Moustakas added solo shots in a four-run sixth.
Michael Phelps wondered if watching others compete at the world championships would pique his desire for another comeback. Phelps said Tuesday he has "no desire" to return to competitive swimming, but he is eager to stay involved with the sport and cheer on those who follow in his enormous wake. In an interview with The Associated Press while promoting a healthy pet food campaign, Phelps said he is excited about having his second child and building a life beyond swimming.
