Big League Stew - MLB

Even if you don't know his name or have ever seen him play, San Diego shortstop Everth Cabrera(notes) has put together a solid rookie season. The 22-year-old from Nicaragua was a Rule V pickup for the Padres and has made everyone take notice of his speed and talent with 21 steals and great defense up the middle. He's probably not going to be known for his power, though a walkoff grand slam in August beat Francisco Rodriguez(notes) and the Mets.

That's Cabrera doing his impressive thing above on a ground ball from Freddy Sanchez(notes) on Monday. He was ultimately unsuccessful, but the attempt earns a solid A for effort.

So have at it, amateur Internet copy editors of the world. How should this caption read?

Follow the jump for winners from Friday's Chicago-centric C-a-C:

2nd — Handsome Pete. "The SOX on my shirt stands for Strikes Out Xcessively! Or was it Soriano: Outfield Xcrement?"

3rd — rexdeaz. ""You know you suck when you're a slumping, toolsy player that Kenny Williams DOESN'T want to trade for!"

HM — JerBear50. ""Hey Alfonso, you might want to give Mark Grace a call. I think he might have some advice to help you with this slump.""
