    OHL roundup: Greyhounds force Game 7 with 5-0 win over Spirit

    SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds are taking it to the limit in their Ontario Hockey League quarterfinal series with the Saginaw Spirit. Gavin Hayes scored twice, Jack Beck had a goal and two assists, and the Greyhounds tied the best-of-seven series 3-3 with a 5-0 victory over the visiting Spirit on Sunday at GFL Memorial Gardens. Jacob Frasca and Marco Mignosa also chipped in with goals for the Greyhounds, who led 1-0 after the first period and 4-0 heading into the third.

    QMJHL: Alexis Bourque helps Victoriaville Tigres advance in playoffs

    VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Alexis Bourque scored twice as the Victoriaville Tigres downed the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 5-3 on Friday to win their Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League quarterfinal. Victoriaville won the best-of-seven series 4-1. Pier-Olivier Roy, Nikita Prishchepov and Maxime Pellerin also scored for Victoriaville. Nathan Darveau made 37 saves.     OHL Roundup: Mangone overtime hero as Spirit take 3-2 series lead over Greyhounds

    Calem Mangone scored 7:53 into overtime to lift the Saginaw Spirit over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 3-2 on Friday in the Ontario Hockey League playoffs.
