This $11 sunscreen serum hybrid just replaced all of my expensive SPFs
Everyone knows that protecting your skin is crucial, especially during the summer. But since I have extremely sensitive skin, finding a sunscreen that doesn’t irritate or break me out has been a journey, to say the least.
In the past, I’ve shelled out hundreds of dollars on expensive formulas that promise not to clog my pores or leave me looking greasy, so when I finally found a drugstore SPF that worked just as well, I felt like I had struck gold.
Hawaiian Tropic recently launched its new Sheer Touch Serums, and, trust me, they’re worth the hype.
This face serum can be used under or over makeup.
Available in both face and body formulas, these new serums are essentially oil-free sunscreens that are packed with hyaluronic acid to keep your skin hydrated. The special formula protects your skin from both UVA and UVB rays and is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, so if you’re hitting the beach or pool this summer, this is a must-have.
But what I love most about these serums is how lightweight they are and how it feels like I’m not even wearing sunscreen. They also leave the prettiest sheen (that doesn’t look oily!), making it ideal to wear under (or instead of) makeup. According to the product’s description, “This fast absorbing, breathable hydrating serum is non-comedogenic and won’t clog pores, leaving skin looking radiant, luminous and healthier.”
This body serum leaves skin protected and radiant.
Hawaiian Tropic’s Sheer Touch Serums are also suitable for all skin tones since they rub in clear and don’t leave a white cast. Additionally, the vegan and cruelty-free formula is free of oil, parabens, oxybenzone and octinoxate and has the brand’s iconic tropical scent.
If you’re tired of spending $40 or more on a tube of high-end sunscreen, you have to give Hawaiian Tropic’s latest offering a shot.
