LOS ANGELES (AP) — Joc Pederson slugged a three-run homer, Christian Walker went deep and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-3 on Tuesday night. The Dodgers had their four-game winning streak at home snapped as they got outhit, 12-6. Arizona's Brandon Pfaadt (2-3) didn't allow a hit until the fourth when Shohei Ohtani doubled leading off. The Japanese superstar stole third — tearing his pants sliding — and scored on catcher Gabriel Moreno's throw that went into left field. T

Haliburton's turnovers cost Pacers, who blow late lead against Celtics in Game 1 of East finals
BOSTON (AP) — The Indiana Pacers kept turning the ball over, and just like that they handed a victory to the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. Tyrese Haliburton had two key turnovers – one at the end of regulation, and another in overtime – to help Boston recover from a five-point deficit in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter and win 133-128 on Tuesday night. “Just turnovers. Whitecaps lose 1-0 to Cavalry, but advance to Voyageurs Cup semifinals
VANCOUVER — Both sides came out winners in Canadian Championship competition at BC Place on Tuesday night. Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League logged its first road win of the year with a 1-0 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps of MLS. The two-leg quarterfinal ended in a 2-2 draw, but because the Whitecaps won the first leg of the tie by a 2-1 score in Calgary on May 7, their 2-1 advantage in road goals is enough for them to advance to the semifinals in their quest for a third consecutive
