Martavis Bryant’s suspension shouldn’t scare fantasy owners

The hits keep coming at the wide receiver position in fantasy football.

First Kelvin Benjamin tore his ACL, then Jordy Nelson did the same. Now ESPN’s Adam Schefter has some tough news for Pittsburgh Steelers and fantasy fans:

Many fantasy experts - including yours truly - were expecting a breakthrough year for the former Clemson Tiger. If the NFL upholds the suspension - Bryant is appealing - I think he'll slide from his current 5th round ADP to the 8th or 9th round. However, that's still a remarkable value.

This will (rightfully so) send Markus Wheaton soaring up draft boards – from the WR40 to WR30-35 range -- but I expect Bryant to outperform his receiving partner in the long run. Remember, Bryant scored the most fantasy points per snap among wideouts last season – yes, even more than Odell Beckham, Jr.
