This is the MLS goal of the year for 2013

Maybe it's fitting, but the man who led MLS with 22 goals this season has also claimed the league's goal of the year award. Vancouver's Camilo Sanvezzo had a tremendous season, scoring five more goals than he did in his first two MLS seasons combined. His scissor kick to equalize against Portland in October was a high point, though. And now it's officially the goal of the season.

Here's all four finalists for the award, so you can see the impressive contenders Sanvezzo beat out...

The winner was determined by a fan vote, which Sanvezzo won by a considerable margin.

1. Camilo Sanvezzo (VAN) vs. POR, Week 32 - 47.29%
2. Diego Valeri (POR) vs. NY, Week 1 - 30.05%
3. Juan Agudelo (NE) vs. CHI, Week 25 - 11.36%
4. Thierry Henry (NY) vs. MTL, Week 11 - 11.31%

Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando took the save of the year award for the second straight season, this time for his sitting-down double save against Colorado.
