Marek Hamsik, three Slovakia teammates fined for going to disco after match

Marek Hamsik, Vladimir Weiss, Karim Guede and Miroslav Stoch won't be paid for the remainder of Slovakia's World Cup qualifying campaign because they went to a disco after last Friday's match against Lithuania. Though the night at the disco came after the match, the players were still on international duty since Slovakia had another World Cup qualifier against Liechtenstein four days later (Slovakia won 2-0).

From Football Italia:

The Serie A pair, along with Freiburg's Karim Guede and Fenerbache's Miroslav Stoch, reportedly had a night on the tiles in Vilnius after their national side's 1-1 draw with Lithuania a week ago today.

According to La Repubblica, the Slovak Football Association have decreed that the four players will not be paid for any of the remaining games in the World Cup 2014 qualification campaign.

Why the fine but no suspension? Well, they did just go to a disco, plus Slovakia would probably like to keep winning -- three of the four players being punished started against Liechtenstein.
