Malfunctioning sprinkler soaks Liverpool fans at Anfield

On a cold night at Anfield, Liverpool's frustrations continued in the first half of their match against Newcastle. Trailing 1-0 at halftime after a Yohan Cabaye goal in the 43rd minute, the gods of irrigation decided to test the patience of the home fans just a little bit more by unleashing a tall blast of water from a malfunctioning sprinkler that soaked a section of fans and the first row of the director's box during the break (gif here).

The supporters parted to escape the chilly shower, but one man's reaction accurately summed up the feelings of even the most dry Liverpool fans so far this season...

The sprinkler was eventually fixed and Liverpool found an equalizer in the second half from a brilliant bit of chest control and finishing from Luis Suarez to earn a 1-1 draw.
