From the least surprising news ever department comes the revelation that Cristiano Ronaldo would like to vote for himself in this year's Ballon d'Or race. Realizing that he will need every vote he can get to once again beat Lionel Messi to the award after losing out to him the last three years in a row and shaking his fist at the rule that prevents him from voting the way he wants, Ronaldo once again demonstrates his enjoyable level of honesty.

From Goal.com:

"If I could, I'd vote for myself," he said in an interview with France Football. "I am what I am and I'm happy with that. Being too humble isn't good. In Portugal we say that too much humility is vanity."

After channeling Popeye the Sailor Man, it's interesting that we finally get to hear the philosophy behind his powerful self-confidence. And if too much humility is vanity, then does that mean too much vanity is humility? Or is it even more vanity than humility? I don't think this can be answered without gazing into several mirrors at the same time.
